Kyteia the Dog needs a home
Kyteia is a Labrador Retriever/Terrier mix who is is about 8-10 months old and weighs around 30-35 pounds. She is he perfect small/medium (smedium) dog.
When she first came into rescue she was very shy, timid, and just plain scared. These types of characteristics put her on the short list for adoption at the local shelter. But GCSPCA saw her potential. The first couple of weeks on her foster home were tough for her. She probably never experienced kindness or love in her short life. I've the weeks her foster mom, with the help of all her foster siblings, showed her just that. Things are going to be okay and it's okay to be a dog.
Kyteia has come a very long way but still shows a little shyness in new situations and with new people. She is a very happy girl now!
Kyteia is crate trained, spayed, and up to date on all her vaccines. She gets along with other dogs, She prefers a home where she is the only dog so she can get all of the attention, but is fine with other medium to large sized dogs. She can't wait to meet her forever family!

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers and we require a home check for each of our adoptable pets prior to them going to their new homes, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family further than 60 miles from Charlotte is responsible for finding a representative of a rescue local to them that is willing to perform the home check. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as the application is approved.***
